My Story of Faith

Self reliant
Leave me alone
I have control
I can do it on my own

Sin consumes me
I 'll never get there
Only those who are perfect
It 's just not fair

Something is missing
A hole in my heart
How can I fill it
How can I start

Jesus she said
He is the way
He is the light
There 's no other way

He died on the cross
Paid the price full
Your sins are forgiven
Just ask and He 'll come

Believe she said
Have faith that might sore
He is your Savior
He is your Lord

Trust in Him
Give up control
Rely on Him
You need nothing more

Ask and He 'll come?
Really, that 's all?
Life fulfilled?
Seems simple, hey y'’all?

Lord, Jesus, are you there?

I 'm at the door

Take my life

I 'm ready to be yours

I know I 'm a sinner

I know I 'm undeserving

But belief in your sacrifice

Makes me yours everlasting

Be my Lord

Be my Light

Be my Savior

Through you, eternal life

I accept your gift

By grace, I am saved

I repent my sins

It 's you now I crave

I 'm a child of God

Completely fulfilled

Everything is so different

I 'm nothing but thrilled

Hope and love 

Consume my life

I live for my Father

To please Him in faith

Ask and He 'll come

It 's completely true

Ask and He 'll come

He 'll come to you too!
